Where do you ship?
We are pleased to offer complimentary Standard Ground shipping on all US orders over $50. We also ship to most international countries including Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Central & South America.
An important note for our Italian customers: Due to Italian customs regulations, all Italian orders must be 4 items or fewer and the quantity per item cannot exceed 2.
Will I have to pay duties and taxes on international shipments?
International Customers are responsible for any and all customs fees, taxes, tariffs or duties levied by their respective government (the “Fees”). You pay guaranteed landed costs at checkout; no additional fees are due upon delivery.
Please note that we are unable to fulfill any request to declare your package for any value other than the total value paid at checkout.
The Fees are typically determined based on a combination of factors that may include:
- The merchandise's country of origin or manufacturer
- The merchandise classification, using a system adopted by the countries that we ship to
- VAT rates set by the country to which the order is shipping
Select countries will be able to view the total amount of applicable fees, duties and tax/VAT for your order during the checkout process.
What are your shipping options?

- Orders shipped Standard Ground via USPS and are typically delivered in 1–3 business days after processing.
- Orders for P.O. Boxes will be shipped via USPS and are delivered within 5–14 business days.
- Orders for APO/FPO/DPO and US territories are delivered within 14–21 days via USPS.
EXPEDITED: For in stock items, orders placed by 1:00 p.m. EST Monday–Friday will be processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1:00 p.m. EST will be processed and shipped the next business day.
- Orders shipped via Expedited are delivered 1–2 business days after the order was shipped.
- Orders for P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO and US territories are not eligible for Expedited service. Expedited shipping does not include Sunday delivery.
Furtuna Skin ships to most international countries including Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Central & South America. We offer UPS Worldwide Express shipping internationally, and duties and taxes will be pre-paid and collected during checkout.

Our packages are assembled by hand, usually within 24 to 72 hours.
Please note that orders placed on Fridays after 1 P.M. PT will be processed the following Monday.
The shipping transit times listed at checkout do not include assembly/processing time.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your purchase.
If you are not fully satisfied, we accept returns on products that are at least half full within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Do you support international returns?
All International orders are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges for items shipped internationally.

I purchased your products at an authorized retailer, can I return them to you?
If the products were not purchased directly through Furtuna Skin, we are not able to process a return.

How do I change or cancel my order?
Our fulfillment system is set up to process quickly so that our customers get their products ASAP. Because of this, editing an already placed order isn’t possible at this time. If you’d like to cancel your order, please send our Customer Experience Team a message immediately —email contact@furtunaskin.com — and we’ll do our best to either cancel the order or, if it’s too late to cancel, help you get a refund on any product you don’t want to keep.
I'm having trouble logging into my account. Can you help?
If you can’t remember your password, you can click on the Forgot? button on the login screen and an auto-email will be sent to you to reset your password. You can also email contact@furtunaskin.com and we can reset it for you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. We also accept PayPal. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept prepaid gift cards, checks, or money orders.
Ingredients & Sourcing
How do you go about sourcing the ingredients for your skincare products?
We adhere to uncompromising sourcing standards that mirror those of our own organic Sicilian farm, La Furtuna. Once untouched for centuries, its soil has been carefully revitalized using byproducts from our mill, creating a natural closed-loop system in which the entire ecosystem thrives. We extend these same principles to every partner we work with, prioritizing natural irrigation, pesticide-free land, and protective buffer zones that guard against drift. Above all, we seek out a family of producers and growers who are true artisans, those with multigenerational heritage and a deep commitment to reviving time-honored, old-world methods.
Do you sustainably source your ingredients?
Yes. We source in a sustainable way that respects the natural ecosystem and protects biodiversity. We take only what we need — just enough so plants can continue to flourish. We never use endangered species or deplete natural resources. We never damage the environment or leave a trace.
Are all of your ingredients organic?
Most of our ingredients are organic as we source the majority of them from our certified organic farm in Sicily. This is quite unusual as wild-foraged ingredients don’t always have the added status of certified organic. Our ingredients have been grown with no pesticides used within 100 miles and on land that hasn’t been cultivated in over 100 years. Our oil-based products are 100% organic. We strive to go beyond organic with many ingredients of even more potent quality because they are wild-foraged plants. Some ingredients cannot be categorized as organic only because they’re not agricultural, including water and minerals like those found in volcanic ash.
Do all of your ingredients come from your La Furtuna Farm in Sicily?
We source wildly potent ingredients from all over the world according to a strict selection protocol. Currently, a large majority of ingredients come from La Furtuna Farm, which is part of our origin story and source of inspiration.
What makes the land of La Furtuna Farm so special?
Our La Furtuna Farm is a certified organic farm in Sicily. It holds a biodiversity of plants, with more than 12,000 olive trees (some of which are from 600 to 1,500 years old), 500 unique plants, 50 medicinal wild herbs, and archeological remains from 2000 B.C. The extensive unspoiled landscape offers different elevations and microclimates to allow different plants to thrive. Pure mineral spring waters nourish the plants with a reservoir of nutrients. The soils are enriched with clay, limestone, and sandstone, imbuing the plants and trees with a unique mineral complexity. The plants here are exceptionally potent and pure because the land has been undeveloped for more than 400 years and the air is clean and pollution free. Pasquale “Mimmo” Marino, our chief botanist and ecologist, revitalizes endangered plant species near extinction.
What are wild-foraged ingredients?
Wild-foraged botanicals grow in the wild, and we forage them in their own natural habitat. Without any human intervention, these plants have to fend for themselves against environmental stressors, which forces them to become stronger and more resilient. They develop extra-potent nutrients to defend themselves. Through our innovative methods, we are able to pass those benefits onto skin.
What is an Extremophyte™ plant?
Extremophyte™ plants are “survivalist” botanicals that overcame harsh and extreme environmental conditions — such as severe winds, heat, snow, volcanic eruptions, and droughts — and became stronger in the process. Through natural adaptation, they evolved into wildly potent Extremophyte™ plants, boasting superpowers and supercharged nutrients. With our innovative methods, we are able to harness their nutritional powers.
What is an Exclusive Bioactive?
Bioactives have the power to transform skin on a profound level. All of our products contain bioactives from our wildly potent ingredients. And some are so rare to the industry, they’re found only in our skincare. Our Exclusive Bioactives are ethically sourced, unique natural ingredients that drive results. A bioactive is considered exclusive to Furtuna Skin by virtue of one of these qualities: its debut in skincare; its limited availability and our exclusive access to it; or its unparalleled Extremophyte™ potency that can’t be reproduced.
How do you test your ingredients for potency, including antioxidant levels?
To test antioxidant levels for skincare products, we worked with a top lab associated with a prestigious Ivy League university. They evaluated the intracellular antioxidant potential of our plant complexes to determine their protective antioxidizing benefits that are specific to skin. This is a far superior method to food-based ORAC ratings, which have less relevance since antioxidants work differently on skin than on the digestive system.
What kind of system do you use to deliver your bioactive ingredients?
We use two types of delivery systems, oil and water based, because some nutrients are oil soluble and others are water soluble and need to be formulated accordingly.
-Vitamins A, D, E, and K, for example, are oil soluble and can be delivered only in oil, so we use our extra virgin olive oil as the delivery system.
-Vitamins B and C, for example, are water soluble and can be delivered only in a water immersion, so we use hydroglycerin for the delivery system.
-To ensure that skin gets complete balanced nutrition, we developed an interlocking approach that reunites the oil and water components through science and/or skincare rituals.
General Product Questions
Why does my product look different compared to my last order?
Due to the natural, potent ingredients within our formulas, color variations from batch to batch might be experienced. Since we don't use artificial colors, the natural and organic plants used in our products vary in color, resulting in natural variations that we fully embrace.
Are Furtuna Skin products tested on animals?
We never test on animals. We value the health and well-being of our planet and all its living creatures. Our products and ingredients are certified cruelty-free by PETA. They have verified that Furtuna Skin and its sources do not conduct, commission, or pay for any testing on animals for ingredients, formulations, or finished products.
Are Furtuna Skin products safe to use during pregnancy?
Although our products comply with cosmetic safety regulations, we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional prior to use if you have any concerns.
How are Furtuna Skin products different from other beauty brands?
Furtuna Skin is different from other clean beauty brands because:
1. We debut efficacious botanicals rarely used in skincare like our Anchusa azurea for it's wildly potent benefits.
2. Our onsite expert Botanist select a curation of wild-foraged, organic botanicals from their natural untouched habitat. Many brands use ingredients that are either wild foraged or organic but not both. If they use organic, the ingredients are cultivated and tend to be less potent than wild.
3. Our Soundbath™ method used to process our wild-foraged botanicals is uniquely innovative in the skincare space. What is the shelf life of the products?
Our skincare products uses naturally sourced botanicals and wild-foraged ingredients. For the maximum performance and efficacy, we recommend using the product within the specified shelf life on the component and outer carton after opening.
Is any fragrance added to Furtuna Skin products?
Furtuna Skin products do not contain any synthetic fragrances. Instead, we use naturally sourced botanicals and essential oils to provide our formulas with a beautiful aroma. Unless specifically stated otherwise, all of our scents are gentle and mild and won’t interfere with your perfumes or natural body scents.
Are your products vegan?
Yes. Our current product offerings are vegan and do not contain animal or animal-derived ingredients. Any non-vegan products we may make in the future will be clearly labeled as cruelty free, but not vegan.
Are the products gluten-free?
Yes. We only source and formulate our finished products with ingredients that are certified gluten-free.
Do your products contain parabens?
No, they do not.
Do you use any chemicals?
We avoid the use harsh chemicals in our products. We created our No Grazie List which outlines the ingredients that are not found in our products which includes the European Union’s list of over 1,300-plus banned substances. We formulate with naturally derived ingredients, many of which come from our own organic farm in Sicily. We do not use synthetic fragrances because they contain harsh chemicals.
What is the Soundbath™ Extraction Method, and how does it affect the product?
Our Soundbath™ Extraction Method allows us to protect the potency of the ingredients without harsh chemicals. The pioneering extraction process was first used by the pharmaceutical industry. It uses the energies of sound and low temperatures to extract the nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants from the botanicals. Our Soundbath™ Extraction Method prevents over-processing and eliminates the need for harsh solvents. Full nutrient potency is preserved, resulting in a more effective and concentrated product. Also, using the Soundbath™ Extraction Method eliminates much of the complexity associated with botanical ingredients because it captures more predictable levels of the bioactive ingredients.
What are skincare pillars?
When you’re building a skincare routine with multiple steps, the best way to decide which products to use is to think in terms of pillars. Pillars represent the fundamental needs of skin that must be met by every great skincare routine: prepare, treat, hydrate, and enrich. Pillars can be customized to changing needs, can go in different orders, and can be used several times during a routine.
What is a typical skincare regimen with your products?
We have designed the ideal skincare routine with pillars to prepare, treat, hydrate, and enrich skin. Our skincare ritual is based on a professional pillar approach to give you transformative results. The Micellar Essence falls into the Prepare pillar to cleanse, tone, and soothe the skin for a radiantly bright complexion. Are your products all plant based?
Currently, all of our products are plant based, but there are some cruelty-free, animal-derived ingredients that we may introduce in the future.

What is proprietary to Furtuna Skin?

What is the Splendore Anchusa™ Complex, and what does it do for skin?
Splendore Anchusa™ Complex is a high‑potency, wild‑foraged phytoactive complex developed to enhance overall formula efficacy for visibly glowing, resilient, and replenished skin. How does auto-replenishment work?
When you subscribe to auto-replenishment for a product, you receive 15% off plus free shipping on orders of $50 or more. You also have the flexibility to change delivery dates, skip upcoming shipments, adjust your delivery frequency, and edit your shipping and billing information directly from your account. It’s the perfect way to maintain your Furtuna Skin rituals without interruption—simply check the "Save 15%" button next to your favorite products. At this time, auto-replenishment is only available to customers in the United States (including APO/FPO/DPO, P.O. Boxes, and U.S. Territories).
Do discount codes combine with auto-replenishment?
Discounts and promotional offers cannot be used with auto-replenishment orders. This includes rewards associated with the La Famiglia loyalty program and limited time offerings.
Will auto-replenishment orders earn points for the La Famiglia loyalty program?
Yes! La Famiglia members receive 1 point for every $1 spent on eligible purchases on furtunaskin.com, including auto-replenishment orders. Eligible purchases include regular priced merchandise and exclude eGift Cards, sales tax, state fees, discounts, shipping and delivery charges, and/or other excluded charges specified by us from time-to-time. All points are pending until your auto-replenishment order ships, at which time they are added to your account and may be redeemed for rewards. It may take up to 24-48 hours from the time your order ships for points to appear in your account.
Where do I find information about my current plan?
All of your subscription account information can be found in your primary Furtuna Skin account portal. Simply log into your account and hover over "My Account" > "Manage Subscriptions".
How do I make changes to my auto-replenishment order?
Log into your account, hover over "My Account" > "Manage Subscriptions", and then select the edit button next to the subscribed product you wish to change. From there, you will have the ability to adjust your upcoming shipment date, product quantity, delivery schedule, payment information, and shipping address.
How can I skip an order?
You can skip an upcoming recurring shipment up to 3 days prior to the scheduled ship date. Log into your Furtuna Skin account, hover over "My Account" > "Manage Subscriptions" > "Delivery Schedule" and select the skip button next to the subscribed product you wish to skip.
Can I change the ship date of my next subscription order?
You can change the ship date of your upcoming auto-replenishment order up to 3 days prior to the scheduled ship date. Log into your Furtuna Skin account, hover over "My Account" > "Manage Subscriptions" and select the edit button next to the subscription you wish to change. Then, select “change” next charge date to choose your new ship date in the drop-down menu (and be sure to click save).
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can pause or cancel a subscription. Simply log into your account and hover over "My Account" > "Manage Subscriptions" and select the cancel button next to the subscribed product you wish to cancel.
Is auto-replenishment available for international orders?
Furtuna Skin accepts auto-replenishment orders for delivery within the United States only (including APO/FPO/DPO, P.O. Boxes, and U.S. Territories).
