What is Manna?

Gently harvested during the summer months in Sicily’s Madonie Mountain Range, the precious sap is drawn from the bark by hand, carrying on a centuries-old tradition. This is a rare process unique to Sicily that only few farmers still practice. It’s harvested in the form of a liquid, then with the help of the warm sun it solidifies into beautiful white stalactites.
Traditionally, Manna has been used in the food industry because of its sweet taste.
